Monish Mody

Monish is the founding director and owner of Hydon & Mody. He is a chartered accountant with over 24 years of experience, who specialises in tax planning, superannuation, advising SME clients and is a trusted advisor to many high net worth individuals. Monish has a thorough understanding of clients' needs in the everyday complexity of business issues and is able to advise the right strategy and approach to achieve optimum and best practice outcomes. He is on the Board of Directors of non-profit organisations, where public expects the highest standards of ethical conduct and accountability.

Through his passion and determination he has shaped the practice into an effective team of highly skilled accounting and taxation specialists. His interests outside work include live theatre, playing musical instruments and contributing to many philanthropic organisations.

Bruce Hydon

Bruce is a chartered accountant and fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand.

He is a tax agent; registered company auditor and registered auditor of super funds. His experience includes audits of SME`s not for profits & super funds, and has a wide knowledge of all aspects of taxation.

Bruce works three days per week in our office and enjoys time out in the sea haven of Inverloch on the Victoria's South Gippsland coast.

He is on the boards of Energy Innovation Co-Op Ltd and Bass Coast Community Foundation Ltd. For relaxation he enjoys bush walking, bike riding and involvement with his three grandchildren.

Damita Powell

Damita Powell joined Hydon and Mody while still pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree. Her scholastic aptitude was recognised by her education provider and honoured her with Academic Excellence Awards during her Diploma and Degree.

She was also one of the finalists for an outstanding student award in 2011. With the support of the team at the firm, she undertook and successfully completed her professional level program and is now a qualified young CPA.

Prastish Bajwa

Prastish joined Hydon & Mody in 2011 while pursuing her CPA. She is an MBA in Finance & Marketing from India and has successfully completed her CPA in 2013.

She focuses on the area of taxation and business services, whilst building and maintaining strong relationships with wide range of clients. Being part of the firm she embraced the opportunity to develop her accounting skills and completed a Certificate Course in Self-Managed Super Funds.
